The Penrose Room
Family owned since its founding in 1961, Heitz Cellar’s legacy runs as deep as the roots throughout the Napa Valley; a winery legend that has helped shape the history of Napa Valley winemaking. In the late 1950s, pioneering vintner Joe Heitz ushered in Napa’s modern era with his iconic, globally celebrated wines, including Napa Valley’s first vineyard-designated Cabernet Sauvignon, the renowned Heitz Cellar Martha’s Vineyard. Fifty-eight years of the Heitz family’s dedication to viticulture, stewardship, and classic winemaking maintained the winery’s notoriety as a benchmark amongst its peers in California and Europe. Join Estate Director & Master Sommelier, Erik Elliot, as we taste the Heitz Cellar collection paired with the cuisine of The Penrose Room. This Wine & Food event includes a welcome reception featuring Heitz Cellar wines & canapes, followed by a multicourse dinner paired with Heitz Cellar wines hand selected by Erik.

In the heart of Louisville, Kentucky, Angel’s Envy was founded by Bourbon Hall of Fame member and Master Distiller, Lincoln Henderson, and his son Wes Henderson. In the fall of 2022, Owen Martin was appointed the Angel’s Envy Master Distiller. Built on a tremendous legacy and a pioneering spirit, Angel’s Envy innovated the foundations of bourbon and rye through a unique “secondary finishing” technique. Join Owen and The Penrose Room Team for an evening of tasting the Angel’s Envy Whiskey Collection paired with the cuisine of The Penrose Room.
