From a conducive website to descriptions of onsite amenities and features, we wish to provide a positive experience from start to finish.

As a century-old historic property with a long reputation for service, each and every Broadmoor team member is educated with the highest expectation of extending service before asked. We are particularly cognizant of guests with special needs. Although there are accessibility regulations in place, we also pride ourselves on simply doing the right thing for all guests. There is always someone “at your service” to assist as desired.

The Broadmoor strives to offer an excellent user experience for visitors using any type of assistive technology to access the website. Our website accessibility standards are based on the WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2) level A + AA success criteria.

We also follow the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines, which are in line with our philosophy of promoting usability for people of all abilities.

In addition, we actively work to maintain, assess and improve the usability and accessibility of our website through engagement of experts and regular testing of our digital accessibility.

Property Features and Amenities

Accessible public entrances with a combination of ramps, doorman assistance, and ADA button-operated doors. Team members are available to assist all guests to enter and exit the property. This includes holding doors and personally escorting guests to the most suitable entrance.

Accessible route from parking area to the main entrance. All sidewalks are accessible to guests with mobility and visual disabilities. A shuttle service with lifts continuously runs from the garage and all surface lots.

Accessible registration process with assistance from team members who join guests in front of the reception area.

Space to accommodate accessible vehicles. Exclusive ADA parking is held at every door for those who wish to self-park. Valet service is available at our Main and West Hotel proper. The property also contains a very accessible garage with 875 parking spaces as well as numerous surface lots.

Accessible food and beverage outlets. From bistro-style service to in-room dining, The Broadmoor offers 16 options to choose from depending on the season. All areas have accessible entrances. The bistro and

bar service are accessible. Staff approaches guests to serve. All restaurants have accessible tables for wheelchairs and/or accommodations can be made.

The Broadmoor offers a range of accessible guest rooms throughout the property with features including but not limited to accessible bathing features, lowered peepholes, telecommunications devices for hearing impaired guests, grab bars, and accessible toilets, sinks and vanities.
