The Ranch at Emerald Valley sits at 8,200 feet and Colorado mountain weather can shift quickly. Packing the right gear ensures you are ready for whatever the day brings.
- Hiking boots and/or sturdy trail shoes
- Layered clothing for variable mountain temperatures
- Waterproof jacket or rain shell
- For horseback riding, please wear long pants (denim is suggested) and closed-toe shoes
- Swimsuit for hot tubs
- Sunglasses and hat
- Personal care items including sunscreen and lip balm
- Camera
- Binoculars for wildlife and bird watching
- A good book for a quiet moment on the porch
- Bandana, cowboy hat, boots. Giddyup!
Each of our cabins includes hair dryers, fans, humidifiers upon request, bathrobes, slippers, shampoo/conditioner, and more comforting necessities. The camp will have plenty of water available to help you stay hydrated at altitude.
Daily Service Charge
For your convenience, The Ranch at Emerald Valley is all-inclusive, encompassing transportation, room rate, food and beverage, activities, and a 20% daily service charge. This service charge offsets premium wages for the Emerald Valley Team and eliminates the need to carry credit cards or cash during your stay, creating a seamless, all-inclusive environment. Rates are valid for the number of guests listed on this confirmation. Any additional guests will incur a surcharge for meals and activities.
Your western adventure begins at The Broadmoor's South Tower, where afternoon shuttles carry you to The Ranch at Emerald Valley. Your cabin will be ready when you arrive, and the team will walk you through a welcome tour before you settle in and start exploring.
Checkout is in the morning, with multiple departure shuttles running from The Ranch back to The Broadmoor.
