Echo Canyon Guided Whitewater Rafting
The thrill of a lifetime as you raft down Class II & III whitewater rapids mixed with calmer stretches that let you relax and enjoy the scenery! Or, for the more experienced rafter, Class IV & V whitewater rapids!

The faint of heart be wary!! This trip provides the thrill of a lifetime as you raft down Class II & III whitewater rapids on the untamed Arkansas River through the Big Horn Sheep Canyon. This adventure also takes you through calmer stretches of water that will allow you to relax and enjoy the scenery of Southern Colorado. Rafting for the more experienced rafter through Class IV & V whitewater rapids can be found in the Royal Gorge. Guests must provide their own transportation for these excursions. Reservations required.
Bighorn Sheep Canyon:
- Half-Day: 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Full-Day: 9:00 a.m.
Royal Gorge:
- Half-Day: 1:00 p.m.
- Full-Day: 10:00 a.m.
Raft-N-Rail:
- From Memorial Day through Labor Day, offered daily. Arrive at Echo Canyon no later than 8:45 a.m. for the 9:30 a.m. departure.
Transportation is not included in this adventure. Please plan to provide your own transportation to this activity, located in Canon City (1 hour and 15 minutes from our resort). Also, you are asked to arrive at Echo Canyon 45 minutes prior to your departure on the Whitewater Raft, so plan to leave the resort 2 hours before your scheduled rafting trip. There is a 14 day cancellation policy for all Echo Canyon Whitewater Rafting excursions.
(Children must be at least 50 pounds to participate in Whitewater Rafting.)
White Water Rafting with Ramblin

Ramblin Express is pleased to provide our guests with transportation to the 1:30 p.m. Bighorn Canyon White Water Rafting excursion. Advance Reservations are required.
Echo Canyon Rafting is located in Canon City (1 hour and 15 minutes from our resort). Guests are asked to arrive at Echo Canyon 45 minutes prior to your departure on the Whitewater Raft, so this transportation will depart The BROADMOOR 2 hours before your scheduled rafting trip, which is 11:30 a.m. There is a 14 day cancellation policy for all Echo Canyon White Water Rafting excursions.
