Sightseeing tours range from a guided walking tour of the garden and grounds to a ride on the world's highest cog train to the top of Pikes Peak. Our Concierge department is happy to assist guests with transportation to and from the Cog Railroad.

Pikes Peak Cog Railway

Sit back and relax as the world's highest cog train takes you up 14,110 feet to the top of Pikes Peak, America's best-known mountain.

Since 1891, the Manitou and Pikes Peak Railway, the worlds highest cog railroad, the highest Colorado railroad and highest train in the United States, has taken passengers to the summit of Pikes Peak.

In the summer, daily depatures are at 8:00 a.m., 9:20 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:20 p.m., 2:40 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 5:20 p.m. Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more. Reservations required. Transportation to and from the Depot, 20-25 minutes away from The BRO^ADMOOR, is not provided.

Royal Gorge Train Ride

Visit the world-famous Royal Gorge and look down at the river 1,000 feet below. Ride the tram or cable-car and enjoy the spectacular scenery that surrounds you. Next, you will board the train in Canon City and take the two-hour ride through the gorge.

This narrow canyon only has room for the river and the tracks. The beauty of the rocks will overwhelm you as you travel by train through the canyon that in the past, tourists were only able to see by raft.
